People
At Pukka Films we are very proud of the work that we do, the films we create and are generally very happy to let our work speak for itself. That said, as the information era segues into age of social networking, blasting our descriptions across the interweb seems de rigueur, so we felt we should let you know a bit more about us…
Or you could search us out on Facebook, Twitter or Linked in.
Or perhaps counter to the whole digital shopfront concept…. We’d love it if you popped by and had a cup of coffee with us…
Paul Katis
Paul is the Creative force behind Pukka Films; you can see lists of his awards and credits in a number of places on the web, so we won’t go into that here. Instead, we’ll let you know that Paul is a big supporter of the arts, fine food (he’s on first name basis with Ian the fish guy in Berwick Street Market) and swimming pools.
He likes and encourages spirited debate, whether that be football, politics or technical issues. The list of things he doesn’t like ebbs and flows, with one simple constant…(a hint is that he commutes in from Kent.)
Paul likes his cappuccino made properly (in a cup with a saucer) but has a love-hate relationship with the espresso machine.
Andrew de Lotbinière
Andrew keeps us on time and on budget. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of production and post-production, he is often found juggling client phone calls, production queries and authoring a DVD, before the rest of us get in.
A keen sportsman, we do regularly find him shrugging off any number of sporting injuries as he looks to organize a production budget before disappearing off for a round of golf, a cricket match or a game of football.

Lucy Trendle
Lucy joined us in early 2012 and brings a wealth of experience to Pukka Films across a wide range of programming, from internal communications and training to brand and marketing. Over the last five years she has produced films for Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Permira, BAT and BAE Systems.
Lucy is an expert organiser and multi-tasker, but terrible at playing instruments and telling jokes. She likes horse riding and eating out at all the trendy places, and is a season ticket holder at Arsenal Football Club.
Tea, Tea and more Tea (there is always one!)
Dan Smith
Dan works in Pukka’s attic with the hyperdimensional machine elves to ensure that the edit suites and computer network function properly. He loves the sound that several amray cases make when you squeeze them closed against each other but hates the apple ‘spinning beachball of death’.
Dan’s favorite films are ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘The Shining’. He hopes one day to meet Stephen King and to make a film that will inspire.
Coffee please, black as a quantum singularity
Ana Kyle
5-times Bunty cover girl in the 1990s, Ana joined us from a career in post-production and was quickly thrown into the deep end with a trip to Norway within 24 hours of joining us.
Ana combines a love of Irish men (specifically her husband) with mexican food (although not always at the same time) and can often be found volunteering at a youth club in Kings Cross in her spare time.
Hot Chocolate with a marshmallow please
