In 2021 we produced an educational resource for charity Gambling with Lives which is now being used across the UK and Northern Ireland in facilitated lessons for young people; both at secondary schools and youth clubs.
Working closely with GWL’s Head of Education James Grimes, we designed the full resource, which resulted in four lessons, each using video, animation and interactive elements for maximum engagement and learning outcomes for the young people.
The resource is now being rolled out and early feedback is incredibly positive. Pupils have been filling in forms with their takeaways – and we couldn’t be happier that the resource is opening eyes about the pernicious harms of gambling addiction, as well as giving young people the knowledge they need to intervene if they spot the signs of an addiction in a peer or family member.
