Getting to know Oxford University Press and the scope of its global publishing, its CSR outreach work, its values and its people was a big task – how do you best tell the story of an organisation whose presence is felt around the world in millions of students’ lives?
Our solution was to create a suite of films which build the OUP brand identity for both internal and external audiences. Production went on for five weeks with filming in 5 locations: South Africa, India, Pakistan, Spain and the UK. We created a brand film, a shorter cut brand film, a visual events film, a recruitment film and induction film – with enough strong content created to offer several further films for HR in the future.
Andrew and Jo really enjoyed the process of creating vibrant, purposeful films to re-position OUP. Working with director Gary Birch, we shot for 3 days in each location, capturing a wealth of case-studies as we filmed from the base of Cape Town’s Table Mountain to the rickshaw laden streets of Karachi.
Early feedback on the films point to employees feeling proud, empowered and inspired by seeing their story told in such an emotive, engaging way.
