High-Consequence Dangerous Goods are transported around our road and rail networks every day. The risk of them falling into the wrong hands is a daily challenge faced by the Department for Transport and the Police. LockDown was produced to create a behaviour change in HGV drivers and those working in the HCDG industry to help them become more vigilant to the threat and work in a way that practically minimises the risk to their load.

With a three-day shoot in and around the Thames Estuary; including closing a dual carriage way for high-speed chase scene, filming on the M25; and with your star turn being a 30 tonne HGV – the shoot was not without the odd production challenge (not to mention the actor who tore a calf muscle on the first take and then had to take a more sedentary position for the rest of the day’s shoot). However, Dan and Andrew rose to the challenge and the final film was delivered on time and on budget and has been distributed to over a 1,000 HGV companies around the country as part of their mandatory training.
