The Brief

To produce a short film aimed at councils and large developers to impress upon them the importance of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation to protect people in public spaces.

Our Approach

The aim was to create a high-impact and very memorable film that would highlight just how vulnerable crowds are in unprotected spaces. Filming involved closing roads and diverting traffic across three days in Blackpool, hundreds of support artists, a fake food market that drew the attention of quite a few confused locals trying to buy some lunch; three individual camera crews and a stunt team all to bring the vision together.

We also filmed an actual van crashing in a controlled test site and built CG 3D models to achieve the desired effect.
