The countryside isn’t just what you think it is…
Natural England
Aubrey Reynolds
Pukka Films supported Natural England’s launch of a revised Countryside Code by producing a number of social media films. These films needed to show off the diversity of the British Countryside, from Blue and Green spaces to Urban and rural ones, and also the diversity of those that enjoy it.
Our creative approach was to interview people who use the countryside in their day to day lives; to let them talk about why they love it and to allow them to share the code with the viewer. The films feature over 25 contributors and they came from different community groups and organisations such as Disabled Ramblers and Black Girls Hike, to dog walkers and joggers, paddle boarders, BMXers and coasteering adventurers!
